You have nailed it! The stifling creative work before its even had a chance to breathe is the worst. I have done this…many times. I am playing my way out of a creative funk currently and had forgotten how fun it is to splash in the puddles. Thank you for the reminder to play, to let go of the “who’s watching” mode and just cut loose bit. I’m not writing anything other than journal=type stuff currently, but I can feel it coming. It’s a great feeling!
